5 STARS - Sweet Surprise!
My husband's family (including parents) are Italian-born. Mr. Castaldo was our surprise to my husband's family. Before we hired him, we heard non-stop how amazing he was. We can't even put into words how we felt that night, listening to him sing, watching the family from Italy dance, sing, and cry. Mr. Castaldo brought with him a video montage of pictures of Italy. Definitely the topper!!!! I grew up in the music business, starting with my grandfather and coming down generations. I know good music. My husband knows good music. MR. CASTALDO IS AMAZING MUSIC!!!!! 5 STARS - Italian Singer Micheal Castaldo Got A Standing Ovation At Our Wedding!
Micheal is an amazing singer! He captured the theme of our celebration (A Night In Tuscany) with class, heart and soul. Just about every one of our guests were thrilled to hear him sing the 'Ave Maria' and 'Panis Angelicus' during our church ceremony. Micheal is more than an Italian Wedding Singer...He is a true artist and professional. When he performed 'Con Te Partiro' (our first dance) during our reception he got a standing ovation. He was also very helpful and generous with his time before the wedding. He talked us through how he approaches his performances on our wedding day and the various packages he offers and the related pricing. We went for the "3 Hour" reception package plus the church ceremony. He over-delivered on everything he promised and the wonderful surprise to us all was the beautiful lead sheet music of one of his original Italian songs from his La Dolce Vita 'NAmerica CD. Micheal is so worth the price and more...he made our wedding come off like we spent thousands more then we did. Our family and friends still talk about our wedding day. I highly recommend Micheal. 5 STARS - A Memorable Touch To Our Wedding!
Michael Castaldo performed during our wedding ceremony and brought tears to our eyes singing "The Prayer" (Andrea Bocelli) as well as other beautiful popular Italian songs as guests were seated. Then during the reception he treated us to a performance of a beautiful Italian Aria (as everyone was seated for dinner) and our guest just went crazy! They loved being "entertained" and are still talking about the incredible music we had at our wedding! It was a real treat for all of us and one of the great memories of our wedding day! In planning my wedding I was most excited about surprising our guests with the "Italian Singer". For weeks I listened to the songs we selected and fell in love with so many. I felt like royalty listening to Micheal sing them "live" for us at our reception. For one night we had a private concert and this memory is etched in our minds forever. And to relive my wedding all I have to do close my eyes and listen to one of his CDs. Micheal sang at my wedding in July 2006 which was at the Boat House in Central Park. The guests loved the Italian songs as my husband is from Italy and my family also descend from Italy as well. But it did not stop there... All the guests were impressed and it truly made the day complete and special. His voice is beautiful and friends and family still take about the day and the music...
